City Clerk Position

The City of Woodbine is seeking an energetic leader for the position of City Clerk.  The City Clerk assists in the oversight of an annual operating budget of $1.3 million.  The City Clerk is an administrative assistant to the Mayor and Council, responsible for accounts payable, payroll, information distribution, publish all notices in a timely manner, record documents as required by law, notary public, maintain records for bids and public contracts.  Salary upon qualifications with full range of benefits.  A college degree in business or public administration or related field is preferred, but not required.  Application materials requested include a cover letter, resume, salary history, and three work related references due by December 8th, 2017.  Confidential applications should be sent to City of Woodbine, 517 Walker Street, Woodbine, IA  51579 or to adnelson@woodbineia.com.
